Vaginal Rejuvenation Specialist

Shoreline Medical Spa

Aesthetics located in Deep River, CT

Here at Shoreline Medical Spa, we offer the vaginal rejuvenation option Tempsure Vitalia. Child bearing, hormonal changes, and aging all play a role in the decline of tone, function, and sensation of the vagina. These symptoms may include vaginal laxity, stress urinary incontinence (sneezing, exercise), decreased vaginal lubrication, and decreased sensation due to loss of tone of the labia majora. Vaginal rejuvenation, a broad term for vaginal corrective treatments, could help reverse the decline.

Vaginal Rejuvenation Q & A

Vaginal Rejuvenation

Vaginal rejuvenation are both surgical and nonsurgical procedures that can be performed for medical and cosmetic reasons. Nonsurgical options are typically energy based, either CO2 laser or radiofrequency (RF) treatments. Bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (click here for more information) and Kegel and pelvic floor exercises are another way to rejuvenate or strengthen the muscles of the vagina.

Tempsure Vitalia

Tempsure Vitalia is an energy based, radio frequency (RF) device. It works by delivering therapeutic heat to the target tissue of the vagina and labia majora, with the goal to enhance collagen, blood vessels, tightness and lubrication.

What does the procedure feel like?

During the Tempsure Vitalia procedure, you will feel gentle, gradual heating of the targeted tissue, ensuring a comfortable experience.

How long is the procedure?

The length of the procedure will depend on how many areas you are having treated.  At Shoreline Medical Spa, we treat two areas:  internal and external.  The internal area(vagina) has four zones and each zone is treated for 5 minutes, for an approximate 20 minute treatment time.  The external area (labia majora and mons) consists of 3 zones for an approximate 15 minute treatment time.

How many procedures are necessary?

A series of treatments are always recommended. Every patient is different, so the optimal number of treatments can vary.
